Dimensional Global Value Trust delivers diversified global exposure at low cost with class-leading execution. The Fund’s objective is to provide long-term capital growth by gaining exposure to a diversified portfolio of large Value Companies associated with approved developed markets (excluding Australia).
- Filters the universe by only selecting the largest 85% to 90% of stocks by market cap in each country, thereby excluding most small-cap names and exhibiting a mid-cap tilt.
- Then overweights stocks with lower valuations (measured by p/b ratio and only selecting from the cheapest 30% of companies), smaller companies (smaller market-cap names), and higher profitability (using an adjusted measure of operating income).
- Low portfolio turnover helps keep a lid on trading and tax imposts, with Dimensional trading the minimum required to retain their desired factor exposures.
