The Vanguard Global Infrastructure Index ETF seeks to track the return of the FTSE Developed Core Infrastructure Index (with net dividends reinvested) in Australian dollars, before taking into account fees, expenses and tax. It offers investors diversified exposure to infrastructure sectors, including transportation, energy and telecommunications. The Fund meets its investment objective by holding all of the securities in the index, most of the time, allowing individual security weightings to vary marginally from the index from time to time.
