ClearBridge RARE Emerging Markets aims to provide investors with regular and stable income, comprised of dividends, distributions and interest received plus capital growth from a portfolio of global infrastructure securities while hedging the Fund’s currency exposure back to AUD, and to outperform the Benchmark. Development of this product has been based on the Manager’s belief that infrastructure is positioned to become a significant beneficiary of trends driving emerging markets. In particular, the Manager believes that due to the defensive nature of infrastructure assets, infrastructure investment is a less risky way to access the growth characteristics of emerging markets.
