MFS Global Equity Trust aims to seek capital appreciation over the longer term by investing in a diversified portfolio of global shares (unhedged) and aims to outperform its benchmark(the MSCI World Index in AUD) over rolling 3 to 5 year periods, before taking into account fees and expenses. The Trust invests in all types of ordinary shares and equivalents of US and non-US issuers. The MFS style ensures that companies are selected as opposed to countries which my lead to country over/underweighting relative to the MSCI World Index.
