Dimensional Emerging Markets Trust investment objective is to provide long-term capital growth by gaining exposure to a diversified portfolio of Value Companies associated with approved emerging markets.
- The Fund is not managed with the objective of achieving a particular return relative to a benchmark index.
- Reference may be made to the MSCI Emerging Markets Index (net div.).
- The fund starts with a broad universe of stocks from more than 20 emerging markets, but it excludes REITs and those with market caps below $50 million.
- The managers use market-cap multipliers to tilt the portfolio toward stocks with smaller market caps, lower valuations, and higher profitability, and away from those with opposite characteristics.
