The Strategic Fixed Interest Fund is managed to invest in a broadly diversified portfolio of eligible short to medium term domestic and global fixed interest and money market securities. Within constraints relating to portfolio maturity, security maturity, credit quality and diversification, the objective is to maximise the total return of the portfolio.
- The fund uses a “variable maturity” and “variable credit” approach to investing in a broadly diversified universe of short-to-mediumterm domestic and international government and corporate debt securities.
- The strategy does not purchase securities lower than investment grade or beyond five years in maturity.
