BetaShares Australian Investment Grade Corporate Bond ETF aims to track the performance of an index (before fees and expenses) that provides intelligent exposure to a portfolio of senior, fixed-rate, investment grade Australian corporate bonds. The Fund’s strategy will preference securities offering superior expected excess returns over Australian government bonds.
- Up to 35 bonds are selected, with eligible bonds requiring amounts outstanding of >$250m and a term to maturity of between 5.25 to 10.25 years.
- Income is paid monthly at a rate expected to be higher than term deposits, government and composite bond exposures.
- Generally seek to invest in the securities that comprise the Index in proportion to the weightings of the securities in the Index. This is known as a “full replication” strategy.
- As far as practicable, the timing and nature of any changes to the composition of the Fund’s investments will generally.
- The holdings of the Fund will not always exactly replicate the Index.
